Bhaja Govindam
Composed by Adi Shankaracharya
Weekly Study Program, Every Saturday, Starts April 25, 2025; 9am to 10.15 am
‘Bhaja Govindam’ points out human infatuation to the two motivations of acquisition and enjoyment, that consumes one’s life, resulting in complacency and delusion. The text audits mundane lifestyle and it’s consequences which hammers and jolts your intellect to visualise the self-inflicted bondage. Highlighting the uniqueness of human birth, Shankaracharya urges one to gain knowledge, turn introverted and seek the Atma, the supreme Self.
